RULES

These must be followed at all times. Violations will result in mod action up to and including banning from the game (in serious cases). Follow them and we won't have any problems.

- Violence: Violent content is allowed. All violent logs are to be put under a cut with appropriate warnings, which must be updated as appropriate. If a non-violent log turns violent, warnings must be updated. Logs containing violence do count toward AC (include a warning in the AC link).
- Sexual Content: Because the game is not an 18+ game, we do not allow graphic sex in the comms. However, you can have as much sex as you want in your own journal, and it will still count toward the closed log part of your AC (as long as the sex is game canon and you include a warning in the AC link). Sexual content that is not graphic (dirty talk, prostitution/solicitation, dancing/stripping, etc) is allowed as long as the log contains appropriate warnings. Basically, if you think it would elevate a movie rating from R to NC-17, move it to your journal.
Plots involving sexual violence follow under the same rules as normal sex threads.
Please note that none of these rules are meant to limit you! They are just meant to make the game an enjoyable and safe experience for everyone.

No challenge reserves will be accepted! If a reserve is in for a character you want, you are welcome to submit an app. If the reserver does not app, other apps will be judged on a first come, first serve basis. If you're considering apping a character, put in a reserve!
You can only have reserves in for two (2) characters at a time.

If you're short a comment or two and have shorter threads that were not dropped by you, you're free to use those as well.
AC works on a two-strike system. Failing AC one month will earn you a strike. Two consecutive strikes will get you booted. Non-consecutive strikes will not result in action, but the mods reserve the right to address consistent non-consecutive strikes (getting one every other month, for example).
AC must be responded to, even if it's only to receive your strike. Anyone who doesn't comment will be dropped, regardless of activity.
The hiatus policy affects your AC as follows:
- 1 week or less: No change; you must make full AC.
- 2 weeks: You'll be asked to give 5 comments, to show you've been around for part of the month.
- 3 weeks+: Exempt from AC for the month. Unless you talk to a mod about a long absence beforehand, doing this three months in a row will be considered squatting and you will be asked to drop.
Remember that weeks you are hiatused count only for the activity of the month they're in. If, for example, you hiatused for the last two weeks of June and the first week of August, you would still be expected to give your reduced AC for June and full AC for August, even though you were hiatused for three weeks.
For the month you are accepted in, AC will only consist of showing some kind of activity (an intro log, a thread of any length, etc). Exceptions will be indicated in acceptance messages. Those who need to comment to AC will be listed in the AC post, so you will always know if you need to provide activity or not!
